Application Scope: The platen-type longitudinal seam welding machine is primarily suitable for straight seam butt welding of medium-thin metal workpieces such as carbon steel, stainless steel, and other metallic materials. The longitudinal seam welder can clamp and weld workpiece structures including: metal sheets, cylindrical workpieces, conical cylinders, truncated cones, as well as box structures and flat plate splice joints.

Main Features:

Ø The design principle of this equipment utilizes a piano-key clamping mechanism to provide balanced workpiece holding and cooling effects. During welding, excess heat from the workpiece is rapidly dissipated from the weld seam, reducing the risk of burn-through, warping, and deformation of the workpiece.

Ø This equipment enables single-sided welding with double-sided formation. Many weldable metal materials can be welded using this automatic welder, such as stainless steel, carbon steel, weldable aluminum alloys, and other metal materials.

Ø The advanced control system, user-friendly human-machine interface, high degree of automation, and stable and reliable performance ensure efficient operation.

Ø It can be integrated with welding power sources and torches such as TIG (tungsten inert gas welding), MIG/MAG (metal inert gas/metal active gas welding), PAW (plasma arc welding), and SAW (submerged arc welding) to form an automatic welding system.
